Upcoming Events:  

Irene Miller, a Holocaust survivor, author, speaker, and educator will be at the Miller Library on Thursday, April 11, at 6:30 pm to talk about her and her family’s experiences escaping from the horrors of the Holocaust. Registration is required; please register online at warrenlibrary.net or call the branch at 586-751-5377. Books will be available for purchase and signing.

Children are invited to come out to the Miller Library and meet a Warren Police Officer and the K-9 dogs that work with him on Saturday, April 13, at 11 am. All ages. Registration requested; please call 586-751-5377 to register. This program will take place in the Children’s Area of the Miller Library.

Books, Brew, & Banter will meet on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, 7:30 pm, at MALONE'S TAVERN. MALONE'S TAVERN is located at 32350 Van Dyke, Warren, MI 48093. Our book for April is In the Heart of the Sea: The Tragedy of the Whaleship Essex by Nathaniel Philbrick.

Tweens and teens can celebrate the season at the Miller Library on Tuesday, April 16 from 6:30-7:30 by decorating eggs with a couple non-traditional dying methods to create a few uniquely colored eggs. Dye can stain, an apron or older clothes is recommended. Ages 10-17 welcome, too. Supplies are limited, registration is required. Children can celebrate the 100th anniversary for Children’s Book Week with us at the Miller Library by stopping by any time the week of APRIL 29 through MAY 5 to check out plenty of books!

On Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., the Warren Civic Center Library will host the free program, “Anime Club for Teens.” Call 586-751-0770 to register. Teens only. This is a parent-free event.

On Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., the Warren Civic Center Library will host the free program, “Elephant and Piggie Day.” Join us for a celebration about our favorite characters from the early reader book series by Mo Willems. We will have crafts, activities and stories featuring Elephant & Piggie. Registration required. Call 586-751-0770 to register. Children of all ages are welcome.

On Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., the Warren Civic Center Library will host the free program, “Pancake Party.” Let’s celebrate National Pancake Day (a tad bit late) with stories and a pancake breakfast. Jammies are welcome. Registration required; Call 586-751-0770 to register. Ages 2 to 8.

Spring storytime runs 7 weeks at the Warren Public Library from the week of March 18 through the week of May 4. Parents can call each library location to register their child. Warren residents accepted first.
