The Maybelle Burnette Branch Library is hosting a free presentation on the basics of managing Type 2 Diabetes and blood glucose with food on Thursday, September 12, from 6:00 -7:30 pm. A Health Instructor from Michigan State University Extension talk about how to identify different approaches to monitoring carbohydrate intake as well as discuss different food groups, servings, and number of carbohydrates and answer some frequently asked questions.
